Navigating the Emotional Roller Coaster of Losing a Pet
When it comes to losing our beloved animals, how could I EVER consider grief to be a "good" thing?
I've only been able to come up with one answer: It means I have truly loved another being. It's hard to explain that special love to other people, just as it's hard to explain the grief. We feel it, it hurts, and often we feel isolated because we don't know how to talk about it, much less process the emotions while we're going through it.
We may feel numb, often guilt-ridden and full of regret over the end of life choices we may have made for our pet.
And if we had made DIFFERENT choices, we would often second guess those as well. Either way, we can beat ourselves up, and carry this guilt with us for YEARS because we don't know how to let it go.
Working with an Animal Communicator can help you through this process. I'm all too familiar with the pain,
having personally lost 13 cats and 1 horse
over the past 15 years.
The 3 things that have helped me most are Memorializing my pet, EFT Tapping, and Communicating with them after they have passed.
